Their work includes fighting to protect Indian Country from environmental destruction, campaigning against Indian mascots in sports and working with tribes on their land claims. American Indian Policy Center AIPC provides a forum in which professionals can discuss public policy issues - for example, education and treaty rights - as they pertain to the US's American Indian nations. National Congress of American Indians One of the earliest American Indian political organisations, the NCAI comprises some 250 tribal governments and advises federal government on policy issues.
